Panerai’s 47mm case embodies the brand’s signature rugged character; the Luminor Tourbillon PAM01784 builds upon this foundation by incorporating elements of *haute horlogerie*. It retains the proportions of the timepieces Panerai created for the Italian Navy in the 1960s, with the iconic crown-protecting bridge remaining a visual focal point. However, the feature that makes the most striking first impression is the domed sapphire crystal—a first for a Panerai tourbillon model. This domed crystal serves a purpose beyond mere aesthetics; inspired by historical classics like the Ref. 6152/1, its curved structure slightly magnifies the numerals beneath and adds depth to the skeletonized dial.
